Product Overview
The LWB slurry pump is a new type of impurity and sewage pump featuring low wear, no winding and no clogging.
With a unique design, the impeller is not located at the center of the pump chamber but is set back away from the volute.
The pumped medium does not pass through the impeller; instead, it gains energy directly in the pump chamber.
By means of the induced vortex generated as the impeller rotates, the medium is drawn in and discharged smoothly from the pump outlet without blockage.
Using pipelines to hydraulically convey various slurry fluids containing solid particles is a new mode of transportation.
It offers low cost, minimal environmental pollution and high economic efficiency, and has therefore attracted wide attention.
To achieve efficient hydraulic conveying, a suitable pump is essential — one that is easy to operate and maintain, resistant to clogging, long-lasting and highly efficient.
Such a pump is the “heart” of hydraulic conveying systems.
After repeated practice and continuous improvement, the LWB vertical vortex pump series has been developed and standardized.
These pumps feature excellent performance, rational structure, and easy disassembly, inspection and maintenance.
They provide the unique advantage of non-clogging operation and are widely used for drainage and sewage discharge in industrial and mining enterprises, agriculture, and urban and rural construction projects.
The pump can be mounted on a floating body for surface operations, such as river dredging, desilting, fish and shrimp pond cleaning, sinking caissons, dike construction and similar works.
The LWB vortex pump is capable of handling liquids containing large solid particles without jamming; liquids containing fibrous materials and suspended solids without tangling; and gas–liquid mixtures without flow interruption.
It is especially suitable for conveying solid–liquid mixtures. The temperature of the pumped medium shall not exceed 50 °C, the particle size of solids can be up to 80% of the discharge diameter, and the weight concentration can be up to 60%.
These pumps are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, agriculture, construction and urban sewage systems for conveying slurry feed, pulp, mineral sand, manure, mud and sand, refuse and sewage and other liquids containing various impurities.
The pump features a simple structure, reliable operation, low vibration, low noise and convenient use.
