Product Overview
The CDLF Stainless Steel Vertical Multistage Pump is a non-self-priming vertical multistage centrifugal pump equipped with an axial inlet and radial outlet. It is designed for industrial and domestic water supply systems, featuring a compact structure, small footprint, lightweight, and easy installation and maintenance. The pump is specifically designed for the transfer of clean water and mildly corrosive liquids, offering high efficiency, low noise, and reliable sealing performance.

Fluid requirements:
• Clean, low-viscosity, non-flammable, sulfur-free liquids without solid particles or fibers
• Suitable for pumping mineral water, softened water, purified water, light oils, and other mild chemical fluids
• When the pumped liquid’s density or viscosity exceeds that of water, a higher power motor should be selected
• The pump’s suitability for specific liquids depends on factors such as chloride concentration, pH, temperature, and solvent/oil content
Service Conditions

Installation altitude: ≤ 1000 meters; for higher elevations, please specify when ordering for appropriate configuration.

The pump should operate in environments free of explosive gases, corrosive atmospheres, and strong electromagnetic interference.
-
Ambient temperature should not exceed +40°C, and relative humidity should not exceed 95%.
-
It is recommended to install the pump in a dry, vibration-free location with good ventilation; outdoor installation requires protective covers.
Protection Functions
-
The motor should be equipped with overload protection to prevent damage from abnormal current.
-
Dry-run protection is recommended to prevent mechanical seal failure in case of insufficient water supply.
-
Pressure switches or variable frequency drives (VFD) should be used to keep the pump within safe pressure limits.
-
Check valves and anti-backflow devices should be installed to prevent damage caused by reverse flow after shutdown.
Selection Criteria

Select the pump model and number of stages based on the required flow rate and head.

Choose appropriate wetted materials (e.g., 304 or 316L stainless steel) based on fluid temperature, pH level, and chloride content.

Determine sealing structure (mechanical seal or packing seal) based on the type of media and its corrosive properties.

Evaluate the available installation space and piping layout to ensure compatibility with the horizontal configuration.
-
If the fluid has higher viscosity or density than water, a higher power motor should be selected to meet the required shaft power.
