Maintenance and Service
1. Ensure inlet pipelines are fully sealed; leakage of water or air is not allowed.
2. Avoid prolonged operation under cavitation conditions.
3. Prevent overcurrent during long-term operation at large flow.
4. Regularly check motor current to keep within the design range.
5. Assign dedicated personnel to monitor operation and prevent unexpected events.
6. Lubricate bearings every 500 hours of operation.
7. After long-term use, inspect for wear or vibration; replace worn parts and bearings. Major overhaul every 12 months.
8. Mechanical seal lubrication must remain clean and particle-free.
9. Never allow mechanical seal dry operation.
10. Rotate the pump manually several turns before startup to prevent seal damage.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Pump not delivering water
Cause: Valves closed, air in suction line, impeller blockage, or reverse rotation.
Solution: Open valves, remove blockages, tighten seals, refill pump chamber, and correct motor wiring.
Problem: Insufficient flow
Cause: Pipe or impeller blockage, low voltage, or worn impeller.
Solution: Clean impeller, stabilize voltage, replace damaged components.
Problem: Excessive power consumption
Cause: Overload or high suction head.
Solution: Reduce flow rate, adjust outlet valve, or lower suction height.
Problem: Noise or vibration
Cause: Unstable piping or damaged bearings.
Solution: Secure pipeline, replace bearings, remove trapped air.
Problem: Motor overheating
Cause: Overload or voltage drop.
Solution: Adjust valve opening, maintain rated voltage.
Problem: Leakage
Cause: Worn mechanical seal or uneven sealing surfaces.
Solution: Replace seals, retighten bolts, or repair pump casing.
