Product Overview

The ISG/IRG/IHG series vertical pipeline centrifugal pumps are designed based on advanced hydraulic models and optimized structure. These pumps feature high efficiency, low noise, reliable performance, and easy maintenance. The inlet and outlet are located on the same axis for inline installation, saving space and simplifying piping layout. The ISG type is suitable for clean water, IRG for hot water circulation, and IHG for chemical or mildly corrosive liquids. They are widely used in industrial, municipal, and building water supply systems.

ISG/IRG/IHG Series Type Designation

ISGD立式单级单吸低转速增压管道清水泵T

Main Features

1. Compact vertical structure saves installation space; inline inlet and outlet simplify pipeline layout.
2. Excellent hydraulic performance with high efficiency and low noise.
3. The shaft seal adopts a high-quality mechanical seal with wear-resistant materials, ensuring no leakage.
4. The pump and motor are directly coupled for reliable operation and smooth rotation.
5. Convenient disassembly and maintenance—no need to remove pipelines.
6. Optional materials include cast iron, stainless steel, or bronze for different media.
7. Long service life and energy-efficient operation suitable for continuous duty.

Scope of Application

– ISG type: for clean water and liquids with similar properties (≤80°C).
– IRG type: for hot water or boiler feed systems (≤120°C).
– IHG type: for chemical liquids with slight corrosion (≤120°C).
– GRG type: for high-temperature liquids (≤240°C) with external cooling system.
– YG type: for oil and petroleum products with temperature ≤120°C and viscosity ≤150cSt.

Installation Dimensions

(ISG type installation drawing and table on page 11)

Refer to the dimensional data table for installation sizes, including pump height, flange diameter, and connection dimensions. The pump installation requires only small floor space and can be directly installed on pipelines, with optional baseplate mounting for larger models.

Operating Conditions

1. Liquid temperature: ISG ≤ 80°C; IRG ≤ 120°C; IHG ≤ 120°C; GRG ≤ 240°C.
2. Ambient temperature ≤ 40°C; relative humidity ≤ 95%.
3. Working pressure ≤ 1.6 MPa; suction pressure + pump head ≤ 2.0 MPa.
4. Clean, non-explosive liquids without solid particles or fibers.
5. Power supply: 380V ±10%, 50Hz three-phase AC.
6. Rotation direction: clockwise viewed from motor top.

Installation Instructions

1. The pipeline must be independently supported to avoid pump deformation.
2. Install the pump vertically with the inlet and outlet flanges on the same line.
3. For high-rise installations, install a check valve near the outlet to prevent backflow.
4. Before startup, fill the pump with liquid and ensure all air is vented.
5. For hot water applications, use expansion joints to prevent thermal stress.
6. Secure anchor bolts firmly to reduce vibration and noise.

Maintenance

1. Check the motor and bearings every 500 operating hours; replace grease if necessary.
2. Mechanical seals should be inspected regularly for wear or leakage.
3. If long-term storage is required, drain the pump and coat internal parts with anti-corrosion oil.
4. Do not operate under cavitation or with a closed outlet valve for long periods.
5. Ensure that current and vibration remain within rated limits during operation.

Failure Causes and Remedies

(Extracted from page 17)

Problem: Pump not discharging water
Cause: Air trapped, wrong rotation, or low suction pressure.
Solution: Vent air, correct wiring, check suction head.

Problem: Insufficient flow
Cause: Impeller wear, blockage, or incorrect speed.
Solution: Clean impeller, remove debris, verify speed.

Problem: Motor overheating
Cause: Overload or voltage fluctuation.
Solution: Adjust operating conditions, ensure stable voltage.

Problem: Vibration or noise
Cause: Misalignment or bearing wear.
Solution: Re-align motor and replace bearings.

Problem: Leakage
Cause: Damaged mechanical seal.
Solution: Replace or repair seal.
