Product Overview
The S type single stage double suction centrifugal pump is a horizontal volute split case pump used for transporting clean water or similar liquids below 105°C. This pump offers large capacity, high efficiency, and reliable operation. It is mainly applied in water plants, air-conditioning systems, irrigation, drainage, power plants, industrial water supply, and firefighting installations.

Working Conditions
1. The pump system pressure ≤1.6 MPa (16 bar). The sum of suction pressure and head ≤1.6 MPa.
2. Medium temperature ≤105°C.
3. The medium should be clean water or liquids similar to water in physical and chemical properties.
4. The pump rotation direction: viewed from motor side, the pump rotates clockwise.
Structure Description
The S pump is horizontally split, with suction and discharge flanges cast on the lower casing. The upper cover and bearing housing can be removed without disturbing the suction/discharge pipelines. Bearings are grease-lubricated or oil-lubricated depending on size. The pump shaft is protected by replaceable sleeves to prevent wear. The impeller is double suction type, dynamically balanced to ensure smooth operation and minimal axial thrust.

Installation and Maintenance
1. Ensure the pump is filled with liquid before startup.
2. The direction of rotation must match the arrow on the casing.
3. Start with discharge valve closed, open gradually after reaching rated speed.
4. Do not regulate flow by suction valve.
5. Periodically inspect bearing temperature (<80°C) and vibration.
6. Replace mechanical seals and packing when leakage exceeds allowable limits.
7. During winter, drain water after shutdown to prevent freezing.
