Operating Manual
Maintenance Notes
-
Before installation, prepare the foundation and anchor bolts according to the selected pump type and its outline drawing and installation dimensions, and choose an installation location that facilitates operation and maintenance.
-
If the pump is installed above the liquid level, a priming device (filling/priming arrangement) shall be provided.
-
Before start-up, fill the pump with liquid and then start the unit. Dry running or reverse rotation is strictly prohibited; otherwise, the mechanical seal may be damaged due to insufficient liquid cooling inside the pump.
-
When stopping the pump, close the pipeline valve to prevent backflow of the liquid.
-
Regularly check the motor current; it shall not exceed the motor rated current.
-
Perform regular maintenance: check whether the pump runs smoothly and whether abnormal vibration occurs; replace the elastic coupling elements when necessary; top up bearing lubricant according to the oil level indicator, and replace the lubricant oil in the bearing housing at regular intervals (generally once every three months).
