The SL vertical FRP chemical pump is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pipeline pump. All wetted parts are made of modified phenolic fiberglass, carefully manufactured by high-temperature and high-pressure processes. It features strong corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, light weight, high specific strength, and excellent dimensional stability.

Operating Conditions

Installation, Operation, Precautions and Maintenance
1. Before installation, prepare the foundation and anchor bolts according to the selected pump model and its outline and installation dimensions. Choose an installation position that facilitates operation and maintenance.
2. If the pump is installed above the liquid level, a priming device must be provided.
3. Before start-up, fill the pump with liquid, then start the unit. Dry-running or reverse rotation is strictly prohibited; otherwise, the mechanical seal may be damaged due to lack of liquid cooling inside the pump.
4. When stopping the pump, close the pipeline valve to prevent liquid backflow.
5. Regularly check the motor current; it must not exceed the motor rated current.
6. Carry out regular maintenance. Check whether the pump runs smoothly and whether there is abnormal vibration. Replace the elastic coupling elements when necessary. Refill bearing lubricant according to the oil level indicator, and replace the oil in the bearing housing at regular intervals (generally once every three months).
