Product Overview

The WQ/QW non-clogging submersible sewage pump is a new generation of wastewater pump developed through extensive research and multiple technical improvements by our engineering team. All performance indicators have passed strict testing. The pump features outstanding energy efficiency, anti-winding capability, non-clogging structure, automatic installation, and automatic control. It delivers excellent performance in handling solid particles and long-fiber debris.

Flow rate: 7–2400 m3/h, Head: 7–60 m.
According to different media types and installation requirements, products with equivalent performance parameters can also be supplied in WL, YW, and GW series.

Product Features

  1. The pump adopts a unique single-vane or double-vane impeller design, greatly improving its solid-passing capability. It can effectively pass fibrous materials up to five times the pump’s inlet diameter and solid particles up to approximately 50% of the inlet diameter.
  2. The mechanical seal uses advanced corrosion-resistant carbide materials, allowing continuous safe operation of more than 8,000 hours.
  3. Compact structure, small footprint, low noise, and easy maintenance. The pump works when fully submerged in water, eliminating the need for a pump house and greatly reducing construction costs.
  4. The sealed oil chamber is equipped with a high-precision anti-interference leakage sensor. A thermal protector is embedded in the stator winding for automatic motor protection.
  5. An optional fully automatic control panel can be supplied to protect against leakage, overload, overheating, and other operating faults, improving overall safety and reliability.
  6. A float switch can automatically control pump start and stop according to liquid level changes, eliminating the need for manual supervision.
  7. The WQ series can be equipped with a dual-guide automatic coupling system for easy installation and maintenance without entering the sewage pit.
  8. The pump can operate across the full head range without overloading the motor.
  9. Two installation methods are available: fixed automatic coupling installation and mobile free installation.

Applications

Suitable for industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, mining, paper-making, cement plants, steel mills, power plants, coal processing, as well as municipal sewage plants, urban drainage systems, construction sites, and municipal engineering.
It is used for pumping sewage and wastewater containing solids, and can also be used for clean water or mildly corrosive liquids.

Operating Conditions

  1. Medium temperature should not exceed 60℃; medium density: 1–1.3 kg/dm3.
  2. For pumps without an internal self-circulation cooling system, the motor section must not be exposed above the liquid surface by more than one-third.
  3. Cast iron pumps are suitable for media with pH 5–9.
  4. 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel pumps are suitable for general corrosive media.
  5. Installation altitude should not exceed 1000 m. For higher-altitude applications, please specify when ordering so we can provide a more reliable configuration.

Operation, Inspection and Maintenance

1. Notes for Use

  1. The pump must not be used in flammable or explosive environments, nor should it be used to handle combustible liquids.
  2. Do not strike, crush, or roll over the power cable. Never use the cable as a lifting rope. Do not pull the cable while the pump is running, as it may damage the insulation, cause leakage, or reduce the sealing performance of the cable and motor junction box.
  3. When using a fixed automatic coupling installation, lift the pump with a lifting chain attached to the handle. Lift and lower gently to avoid impact.
  4. When lowering the pump into the water, it must be lifted vertically. Do not place the pump horizontally or allow it to sink into sludge.
  5. A flow-regulating valve should be installed on the discharge pipeline to prevent excessive flow that may overload the motor.
