The ZWL Series Direct-Coupled Self-Priming Non-Clog Sewage Pump integrates self-priming and non-clogging functions in one unit. Designed with an axial recirculation system and a specially engineered pump body and impeller passage, it operates like a standard clear-water self-priming pump without the need for a bottom valve or priming water, while also capable of handling liquids containing large solid particles and long-fiber impurities.
It is widely used in municipal sewage projects, river and pond farming waste treatment, sediment and mining residue transfer, light industry, paper-making, food processing, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, power plants, slurry and mixtures, and other industrial wastewater applications.
This pump features simple structure, excellent self-priming performance (self-priming height up to 5m), strong sewage-handling capability, high efficiency, energy saving, and easy maintenance (a complete replacement for WQ/QW submersible sewage pumps). Structure & Working Principle
The ZWL Series Direct-Coupled Self-Priming Non-Clog Sewage Pump consists of pump body, impeller, rear cover, mechanical seal, pump shaft, bearing seat, inlet valve, air-liquid separation pipe, priming valve, suction and discharge ports, etc. (See structural diagram.)
Working Principle:
The pump body contains a liquid-storage chamber connected to the pump chamber through an upper recirculation port and a lower circulation port, forming an axial recirculation external-mixing system.
After shutdown, a certain volume of liquid remains inside the pump.
When started, the stored liquid—driven by the impeller—mixes with the incoming air and is thrown upward. Liquid returns to the working chamber through the mesh of the gas-liquid separation pipe, while air is expelled from the pump, creating a vacuum and achieving self-priming.
