Product Overview
The ZW series non-clogging self-priming sewage pump integrates self-priming and non-clogging discharge functions. By adopting an axial recirculation design and a uniquely engineered pump body and impeller flow passage, it operates like a standard self-priming clean-water pump without the need for a foot valve or priming water, while also being capable of suction and discharge of liquids containing large solid particles and long-fiber impurities without clogging. It is widely used in municipal sewage projects, pond and farm waste treatment, sediment and ore impurity handling, light industry, paper making, food processing, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, power plants, pulp, and various chemical mixtures — an ideal impurity-handling pump.

It can transport sewage and wastewater containing solid particles and impurities, and can also be used for clean water and weakly corrosive media.
Operating Conditions
1. Ambient temperature ≤ 50℃; medium temperature ≤ 80℃ (up to 200℃ for special requirements).
2. Medium pH range: cast-iron pumps 6–9; stainless-steel pumps 2–13.
3. Medium density ≤ 1240 kg/m³.
4. Self-priming height must not exceed the specified 4.5–5.5 m; suction pipe length ≤ 10 m.
5. Passage capability: suspended particle diameter ≤ 60% of pump inlet diameter; fiber length ≤ 5× pump inlet diameter.
Structure and Working Principle
The ZW non-clogging self-priming sewage pump is mainly composed of a pump body, impeller, rear cover, mechanical seal, pump shaft, bearing housing, inlet valve, air–liquid separation pipe, filling valve, inlet and outlet connections, etc.
The pump structure is shown in the diagram.
Working principle:
Inside the pump body is a liquid storage chamber connected to the working chamber through an upper recirculation hole and a lower circulation hole, forming an axial-recirculation external-mixing system. After the pump stops, a certain amount of liquid remains stored in the chamber.
When the pump starts, the stored liquid is driven by the impeller, carrying air upward. The liquid flows back to the working chamber through the mesh of the air–liquid separation pipe, while the air is discharged outside the pump.
This creates a vacuum inside the pump, enabling the self-priming function.
